View Full Version : New Custom Pocket on My Razer
i remember bacharach having a pocket with pita twists in between every leather so i tried it out, it came out a little sloppy but thats probably because it only took 25 mins to string, so that can be fixed with a little more time, i'm interested in hearing what you guys think of it.

The leather on the right is backwards. Those leathers look wide and thin, are they from Bart?

not bad. the center twist looks a little loose to me. You might want to tighten it up some.

yea i noticed that as soon as i posted the pic i switched it up now and yea the leathers are from bart, actually pretty nice

i'll prolly do another one but i think i'm gonna change the outside and string it just like tradish and have the 3 pita twists in the middle

i've seen that, thats what reminded me of the bacharach pocket, his looks very neat and looks like he spent a great deal of time on it

He as in...me? lol It actually didnt take too long, longer than a normal traditional though. I almost cried when one of the leathers broke in it, they were really old and used though. As soon as I get new leathers from Jimalax that pocket is definately going back into my stick. Also are Bart's leathers any good? Better than Jimalax's?

it's called a perfect pocket when u spiral between every leather like that. it's been done. I got barts leathers and they aren't what you would get in a lax store. they are softer and wider

woops didnt see it was yours, yours is very nice, my was just a spur of the moment kinda thing that i rushed to get done, barts leathers are very nice, a little wide but no biggie, i'm sure he could make them smaller if you want, i've never bought any leathers from jimalax, but these leathers are all leather and feel a little different than a normal leather. i think bart said normal leathers use plastics fillers in them and he doesn't, so over all the leathers are softer than normal leathers

I think the pocket loks really sweet. Where did you get the hockey laces? I like them all white, and I know they come in a Warrior stringing kit. Did you buy them somewhere, or order em offline?

those leathers look crappy, but thats cool hwo they come in different colors, thats a pretty good looking stick.
