shooting strings

hey well i no this was already in a thread but i cant seem to find it...dont yell at me cuz i searched but to no avail...its a simple question, and it is: when do shooting string do i do them loose at the bottom and get tighter at the top ? ya i no its a stupid question but i had a brain fart wen i was doing them

yes..tighter up top and gradually looser at the bottom..unless you like whip..if that is the case..the bottom should be tighter than the top
