I've never heard of "half-hard" mesh? Do you mean Dura-mesh?

not sure if they are the same or not, stringing companies always try to change the name of their stuff even when its the same stuff as other competitors. ie Monster Mesh = 5-6 Diamond

I've got the Jimalax semi-hard mesh in my stick right now and I love it. The pocket stays and it took zero time to break in.
they're about the same, our coach used to get all of his mesh from gtglax.com but since i've told him about jimalax, he's bought thier semi hard mesh, since it's cheaper

I have both kinds, and I think that catapultion is unbeatable. It is twice as thick as regular hard, and it is coated. It also took 0 break in time with the new catapultion that's not a rock and can actualy be stretched right out of the box.
