ok today was like any other day when i just go to weight lifting at 4 o'clock and came back at 6 and then when i just get back, my house gets a call and my mom answers it. its one of our neighbors. and so she wants me to go pick apples off her tree. so instead of asking me whether i wanted to do it or not my mom just volunters me and im like "what?" :banghead: . so i just went and did it so i wouldn't look like an ***.so i had to go to this old ladies house and pick all the apples she couldn't get (which were like all of them lol) but she kept me there to pick them all even the ones way, way far back in the tree and up at the top. And as a reward i got the apples i picked (what a prize lol). but back to the question has one of ur parents voluntered u for something w/o telling u whether ur interested or want to do it?

Yes I got volunteered to go do an Art in the Park thing and my neighbor and I had the messiest station. The object was to make a little "fishtank in a bag". The kids would put blue water into a Ziploc bag with glitter and little plastic fish, etc. Then after a while the bags would leak so we double baggedthem, then they were being used as weapons, so all hell was breaking loose at our station. We actually had a lot of fun after a while but were mad at first that we got volunteered out of nowhere. Also the week before that we did a stint at a Creat-A-Bear in our local mall for small children and that was crazy. We had to clean up all the stuffing the kids would drop and throw away the dirty stuffing. It was a mess and fighting to get all the stuff in between the kids and parents was a chore, but we all got food and a free bear at the end so it was all worth it to help out the little kids.
Sorry about the typing but it's a lot of story to tell.

my mother volunteered me to bring up the gifts to the altar every sunday at church since my first communion. Even to this day I still do it like once a month. The church is trying to get the younger chilfren involved with the church..but since it's summer and ccd isn't in session..my brother and I bring it almost every sunday until ccd starts up again.
