yea i got the bloodhound virus. and had to use norton to take it off. but ad-aware does quaratine (sp?) the spyware after a full scan. just be cautious of Kazaa all the pop-ups and crap that comes with kazaa can be harmful to ur computer even possibly give u viruses don't have what happened to me use a different p2p networking like emule is what i am now using.

Is Kazaa lite still around?
A couple years ago, some genius had a modded version where it would let you get onto Kazaa's servers, but all of the spyware and crap was gone.

Spybot S&D, Adaware (both already mentioned), and the microsoft anti-spyware tool.
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx works well.
Also hijack this! if you know what you're doing.

1. download hijack this and save the log
2. www.techsupportforum.com
3. Make a username up and then start a new thread and show them your log
4. They tell you everything to delete and your computer is working better.

Go to yahoo.com and there should be an add for their toolbar. Their toolbar has a really good spyware remover on it. It should be in the top right of the screen above everything else. Something like "Download our free toolbar".

um i have read about it but i have no confidence anymore in kazaa i figure there r different places where i can download my music for free i don't want to break my computer anymore lol
