in the new inside lacrosse magazine, there is an advertisment for these new shoulder pads being made by shock doctor, i was wandering what your guys' thoughts were on the new pads.

i tried them on about 4 hours ago...they feel really nice in the chest area but kinda restrict movement a bit in the shoulders/arms. overall im very impressed but they could make them a little more mobile. i love the chin cup they have as well...looks so raw
the new harrow stuff is amazing, the arm/shoulder pads have been completly re done....wow is all i have to say...and there going with a black color scheme.
Yeah, I just tried on all of the shock doctor stuff as well.. DaVinci shoulder & arm pads, and Formula shoulder and arm pads.. and I didn't find them restrictive at all.. As a matter of fact you can remove so much of the shoulder pads that they become almost useless.. but I was also very impressed. Not only can the upper arm protection be removed, but the shoulder caps come off, front and rear interior padded liners come off, leaving just a narrow hard over the shoulder strip and the hard center piece on the front. You can almost customize the shoulder pads yourself.. Pretty cool concept. The armpads are pretty nice also.. Very soft liner. And they are coming out with gloves (no examples yet), and a forearm guard designed to go in between the gloves and armpads.. which will retail for $14.99.. As an attackman that would be very valuable to me even if I don't buy the gloves, armpads, or shoulder pads. I haven't seen the Harrow stuff, but I don't carry Harrow as I see it as a Canadian box product, not a field product. I'll post pics of the Shock doctor stuff later.. hbm
