i dont know how. i dont really have a fav... im not a fan of the trakker pro even tho i have it. i either want to learn or i need to find someone to do it (lillaxgurl...still up for it? nvm ill PM)

At some point I intend on learning how to string, it's on my to-do list. But i really like the pita style and also just the traditional, I'm not really a fan of the Trakker or Trakker Pro for that matter, but that's just me.

ya i can string just about any girl style. just wondering how many of ya's can do it? because if u havn't really guessed yet i'm a guy ( yippie ) and kinda goin for the "girls killer lax team" stick doctor position.. jw what u guy's like so i can supply it.

I play with the trakker pro, no one around here really every restrings their sticks, is that weird?

no not really. most people i know dont know how to. actually i know like one person with a restrung stick and they had a lax store restring a trad to a trakker pro after the traditional died...

i wish i knew how to string...

i am liking trad much better than trakker pro...even replaced the Solo pocket with a trad pocket...imo the stick is much better...

I "can" string sticks, though it's harder for me to make them come out good these days. Back when I was a player in high school, I could string sticks really well and made some money doing so.

For the women's game, I prefer traditional, it's got a better hold and feel to it than all the synthetic pockets floating around. You can actually have a pocket, whip, and a release point in a trad womens pocket. Being that I'm a guy, I like that.

reg trakker is prob one of the worst pockets. cuz u have noo grip in the beggining and then the synthetics get old and even more slippery.. IMHO...
i had trad on my first stick, but i dont remember what it felt like... hm i should restring one of my old heads to see.... or get someone else to do it for mee...

Regular trakkers stink. Don't get them, at least with the pro you can make a channel, but with the regular trakker all you have is a synthetic mess. Also, don't go web-x, personally they make me cringe every time I see one.

Ace pocket- haven't tried to string it, but IMO it looks illegal. I'm pretty sure it is, if you're going to string, get a rulebook. You'll need it, so many rules to follow

Yeah a lot of people (girls actually) don't string or for that matter know what's going on with their pocket besides the fact they know it has to be legal pocket depth. I was dicussing this with another person and concluded that some girls don't even bother to tighten their shooting strings when they come undone.

Maybe I'll put up a tutorial sometime for you girls that want to learn how to string.

As for me, incase you haven't figured out by now, I string... A lot. I string my goalie sticks up with perferably 20D or 12D. For field I mess around a lot because I never play except for the summer, and that's occaisonally. I like trad variations. I string a lot of other girl's sticks too, but usually with somethign simple. But for my experiments, I try to do new things, though they don't always work out lol

I actually just strung one up. Should have taken pictures of doing it though. There are now some of my stringings in my webshots though. Like 4 but I'm working on finding them all. I'll get on the tutorial as soon as I can though. What do you guys want though? Just regular trad or something special lol
