Does anyone have any experience on what must be done to change a club college team into a varsity one? Also, if anyone else on TLF is going to Sewanee in TN, please respond to this message as well.

The first thing would be numbers, enough people to have to cut players probably. Also, to be a varsity sport, a legit experienced would be needed i'm sure, if you have one, because i haven't heard of student run varsity sports, as most club teams are. And at least 2 or 3 years as a club sport competing at tourneys and against other schools/club teams, if you're lucky, might take longer. I have not gone through the process this is just speculation but your best bet is to talk to the Athletic Director as well as other athletic committees or officials, if the team has a sizeable enough following, and work things out with them best as possible.
