This is a survey that will help the board decide if the championships should be at Gilette stadium.
Remember to answer "Yes" to questions like "Will your attend?" so they know how big the fan base around here is!
Pass it on to all your friends and build some momentum for the campaign!

...Isn't Boston getting the MLL championship?
My vote is to put the NCAA Championship at Bank of America Stadium here in Charlotte. I guarantee all the lax fans from greensboro and the Triangle would come over for the weekend, not to mention the lax fan base in Charlotte. It would also attract tons of non-lax fans.

i think theyve had really good success where theyre at currently when playing. personally i would love to see the tourney be at the ole horse shoe stadium that is OSU. the original american sport in americas heartland. it would also even out the travel of fans from east coast to western part of the mid-west, even from the north and south.

yeah, i agree with baltimore. i went in 04 and it was the most fun i've ever had. and nobody i know wants to go to philidelphia. i ended up going to johns hopkins (in baltimore) for the quarterfinals because my dad didnt want to travel to philidelphia

I went to the Final Four in New Jersey, Baltimore, and Philly and I have to say Baltimore was by far the best. I dont think you can beat it there.

Technically, Gillette isn't in Boston. So your campaign is faulty.

I have gone to the championships in Jersey, Baltimore, and Philly. I think that Philly was best experience. It was most likely due to the weather, 2nd semifinal game, and stadium.

That was clearly a baseless statement. There are thousands of lacrosse fans and players in Charlotte alone, and I guarantee they'd all be there. And If you take in the fans from all the surrounding areas (Tennessee, South Carolina, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Virginia) it'd be pretty big.
I know it won't happen, and there are tons of better options, but it would be cool.
Think before you post something next time.

no chance of it being in NC before boston, if at all......Boston would be good cuase u can have everything in boston, and its like a 10-20 mintue drive to foxboro....cannons get good attendance, and gillete is the best stadium in the country, u cant beat waiting in line at mcdonalds, or the regular stands, and still being able to see the field perfectly(if uve been there, u know what im talking about)....foxboro has all the practice fields near the stadium, so practice time wont be a problem for the teams

philly is actually good just because of its location... its inbetween maryland and new york, which is why it got such great attendence.... im just confused as to why its never in New York
what ever i still want it back in baltimore, cant beat a 30 min drive

Philly and Baltimore were both good...I loved the short drive to Phillyy...Wouldn't mind Boston either...
I bet as far as fan activities, that Boston would be better than Philly...But nothing (as far as overall experience) would beat Baltimore...

No Nassau...period...you think hotels/other activities were lacking at philly? I guarantee you Nassau would be worse...
besides...
Nassau is a hockey arena...not a football stadium...
Same issue with the Garden...its not made for an outdoor lacrosse game...its a hockey/basketball venue...
the closest to NYC/LI would be Giants/Jets stadium in NJ...

Are u serious they play mll at Mitchel Athletic Complex long island lizards where u think they play and then u got giant satudim if the ncaa championship is at ny they will make a field or find one trust me

When you said Nassau I thought you meant the Nassau arena (based on MSG suggestion earlier)...
If you are talking about Mitchell athletic field is not big at all...Hofstra stadium has more seating.
They would not build a field for just the NCAA Championships.
I could see it at the Meadowlands (Giants/Jets stadium)...but then again...I'd prefer it not to be.

3000 people at a MLL game isnt 100,000+ for final four weekend.
the FF isnt going back to college campuses, navy-marine corps stadium in annapolis got shot down for not being big enough. it looks like pro football stadiums only from here on out.

PRO (NFL) football stadium.
trust me, its not going back onto a college campus or some non NFL stadium

Agreed Spenny...
the NCAA has a great equation using PRO stadiums, in geographic areas that also offer other activities...Balto was great for this, Philly was ok...and I think Boston would be great...
Maybe if the Jets ever get their wish of a stadium on LI then the NCAAs could come to LI...but until then...not a chance

You obviously have never been to Foxboro.
It's an hour drive at least from Boston to Foxboro.
Anyway, I like the idea, but I think Baltimore would be a better place. Obviously, I'd like it to be in Boston, but Baltimore is more deserving.

i live literally 2 miles from the stadium and although it would be sick if it was there, no lie there is nothing around where i live, you would never know that one of the nicest stadiums in the world is a minute down the street, but i wouldnt be that bad because the hotel accomodations within the vicinity arent great so most people would have to get a hotel further away (boston)
.the heart of boston is really about 30 min from there but a real easy ride and about 45 min by train so.........and anyway most of the partyin would be done at night so it wouldnt matter that is no nightlife in the immediate area

Straight from MapQuest.com:
Total Est. Time: 37 minutes Total Est. Distance: 29.24 miles
Directions from Rodman Ford (which is DIRECTLY across the street from Gilette) to Hooters by the Fleetcenter.
Are you talking about Boston, CT or something? Other than that, I don't know what you are talking about.

Until U of Michigan goes varsity, sometime in the next 40 years, we all could rock The Big House in Ann Arbor. After that it would be home field advantage for the Maize and Blue.
