Which VA high schools don't meet your standards of good lacrosse? Is it Oakton, Woodson, or perhaps Langley? According to the LaxPower rankings, VA has 5 teams, accompanying your 6 teams from MA, in the top 100.

By Laxpower ratings, the top 10 states are:
1. Maryland
2. New York
3. Connecticut
4. Massachusetts
5. New Jersey
6. Pennsylvania
7. Michigan
8. Ohio
9. California
10. Colorado

If you take out the non-east coast states,

1. Maryland
2. New York
3. Connecticut
4. Massachusetts
5. New Jersey
6. Virginia
7. Georgia
8. Florida
9. Delaware
10. North Carolina

the problem with this is, are you just comparing the best schools from the state, or the over all lacrosse in the whole state, because just comparing top teams id say DE is in the top 6-7 on the east, but if you are counting everyteam, we fall down more to probably about 12-13 because i think like 2 or 3 of the bottom 10 teams on laxpower are from DE, including the team in dead last.

2.NJ
3. CT

I woulkd have to think NY & MD are equl, simply that these two states have produced som many athletes and coaches that have brought lacrosse to the nation's attention.

it depend on where in NJ, North Jersey Is pretty good, Delbarton, Mountain Lakes, Lawrenceville are all national calibur teams, but south jeresy is just starting up, so we are about 50/50

Its a myth to think NC is good at lacrosse.

In reality, they're behind the pack these days.

Not as far behind as Vermont is. Vermont = Utah in lacrosse. Why has everybody forgotten that state? People do play there, you know. Freaking Middlebury is in Vermont, and they almost took down Salisbury.

hey all yall saying NC's not any good obviously hasnt played any of our good teams, i know we're not MD or NC, but we're good(& whoever said GA & FL we're better then us, ya they're getting good but a team from both those states was invited up to a tourney here & they were decent but definitley not better then us, they were both like 1-4, & that was just charlotte area tourney(not hating against FL or GA, i was born in GA, just saying definitley not better then us)
