What are excersices that I can do to build stronger forearms. I do this thing where i tie a peice of wood to a dumbbell with a string and roll the dumbbell up to build forearm and wrist strength. I also use those hand grips but i just want to make my forearms stronger any other ideas.

i do that and it helps... bicep curls also work the forearm... try wrist curls... thats what you need for lacrosse...

yea i do wrist curls. you just hold like 20 lbs, and rest your forearm on your leg, and move your wrist up and down or ...................there's always that other way to build forearm strength .....................

umm.. i was thinking about that exercise where you stand sideways, and hold like 10 lb dumbells in each hand, and just punch out. 25 with the right hand, and then 25 with the left hand. kind of like kick boxing punches. do 4 sets with each hand, and it builds up your whole arm strength. mostly on biceps and triceps when you're punching out, but when you pull the weight back into your body, it works your forarm. try it sometime, just make sure.. not to hit people on accident.. i did it onetime, cuz this big football plyr, just leaned across my punching line to get a weight, and i clocked him in the arm. i threw the weights down, and got outta there as fast as i could.

another good one is taking a straight bar and hold onto it behind your back. stand up so that the bar is resting like on the top of your butt. then just curl the bar up.

here's somethin... go to an outdoor store and go to the rock climbing section. they have these rubber rings in there that cost about $5-10. just get one and squeeze it 100 times at a time wherever you go. i like to do it during school.... it helps me be "less bored" and builds up some arm strength at the same time.

i take a 15 lb dumbbell, and go like im doing a curl sitting down with my arm across my leg. I use my left hand to hold down my right arm at that inside elbow area. and i do half a curl and roll my wrist in. I usually keep a rapid pace going. Im not sure if i explained this well enough for anyone to understand..lol.

they'll know what you're talkin about... just ask em for it. it's a rubber ring the size of a donut, and rock climbers squeeze it to build their forearms.

you can squeeze a lacrosse ball and get a similar effect, tennis ball is easier though and will hurt your palm less

i had this thing one time it weas this plastic ball with a gyro inside i guess, and u like pull this string so the ball starrts spinning then you have keep the rhythm going by rotating it, dude this is really hard and it gives your forearm a huge workout...i think nortictrack made it

yeh thats the point haha it was actually made to to be put in like bathrooms like under the toilet seat so when u lift it up ull see it haha, its so fun to do to people
