ive heard that d*cks doesnt really care about their lacrosse equipment...so i was wondering if ne1 has tried this...say u broke a shaft they carry...and its after the warranty...i was wondering if u could just take it in there n be like "well i dont have a receipt but they have a year long warranty neway and it beats sending it in so can i just do it through you?" and get a replacement shaft like that? i would try it but i dont have nething broken...

If they don't know anything about lacrosse to begin with, I don't think they'd just accept a broken stick and give you a new one. They aren't gonna know how to go about with the warranty and likely won't want to deal with that.

OHlax, you are mistaken. If you switch tags, you are not stealing from warrior, you are stealing from the store. Its not like warrior is selling the product directly to you. Warrior has been paid their full price for the product they sell to the store. The store sets the price according to how much they pay warrior. So if you pay 30$ for a evo pro from a sporting goods store, you are stealing for them, and chances are you are making them lose money on that deal. No matter how you justify yourself or put it, it is in fact stealing and it should stop. Just because someone dosnt "aknowledge" the sport? BS, give me a break. Dont try to justify your stealing. And the cashiers not knowing about lacrosse is not their fault. And just because they cant tell the difference between a cyber and a profile because of your tag switching dosnt make it ok. Their just doing their job, which is scanning tags, and to stop stealing TO THEIR KNOWLEDGE.

Alright,
The people at DSG are completely inept. They have a policy to match the lowest price of any item and will lower the cost of an item if you bring in proof of a lower cost at another store. I went on to Laxshopper.com and printed off a nice list of unstung heads and their prices and brought that in hand today to DSG. I had hoped to find a Hype or Torque, but all they had were Bionics and Finalizers unstrung. Strung they had a few Brine Nitrous heads. I looked on one of the Finalizer heads and they had mislabelled it as a Brine Motive. Well folks, one of the heads I had printed out info on was the motive. To make a long story just a bit shorter, I ended up buying the Finalizer as a Motive, unstrung, for $56 before tax. The head says Finalizer, but because they mislabelled it as a Brine Motive the foolish and ignorant clerk didn't even care. But wait. How could this possibly get even better you might ask? Some kid had attached an unstrung Warrior Evolution to a Krypto Pro attack shaft. I brought that up intending to buy it etc. Well the clerk charged me a discount price for the unstrung Evolution, and not the shaft. I paid $85 for the whole thing. Good Lord. They really have no idea which end is up. I even tried to draw the clerk's attention to the discrepency, but he didn't care... and he was a manager.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. You guys can pretend like you're not stealing---but you are. The end.
And in answer to the question regarding taking a shaft in there, I would be willing to bet that they would NOT do it because it's a ton of leg work for them and there's no way they're going to put themselves out to hook a (basically) non-paying "customer" up.

thats the problem....the people there dont care...as long as they get that check at the end of the week there satisfied....i may admit i find heads mislabled and i switch labels sometimes but they have no care in the world and they are prolly just happy people are there. whenever i go its all quiet and it isnt crowded so the cashiers are prolly bored out of there mind and dont care what the person is buying

i asked my dad's friend about this (he's a lawyer) and he told me that if you genuinely plan to pay the whole price, and the cashier fails to ring it up, and you walk out of the store w/ the thinking that you paid for it then realize that you didnt, you are not at fault.

Wow you guys sicken me...
If you switch the tags to get a lower price, it is ILLEGAL. Period. Even if they make a profit, its still ILLEGAL. If the cashier doesn't notice that you switched the tags, its still ILLEGAL. Period.
How about all you thieves try going to an electronics store and switch a 60" plasma tv price sticker with a 10" black and white tv one and see what happens.

Well, I was taught morals and I can tell you right now that switching tags is wrong and criminal. Also what the kid with the lawyer friend said was that you would need to genuinely intend to buy it fairly.
Try defending your genuineness in juvenile court when D*ick's video camera's are the prosecution.

I know kids who go to D*ck's and peel the sticker off a nice head and just stick it on an like a warrior aluminum shaft. Then they go to the checkout to some old woman who wouldnt know better. She only rings up the shaft and itsl ike 30 bucks. Then since the receipt only says that they bought a shaft, they go home and take off the head and just return the shaft and get there 30 bucks back. Then they get a nice head for free.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. You guys can pretend like you're not stealing---but you are. The end......
If you,
-change a price tag,
-remove a price tag from a head and put it on top of a priced shaft,
-remove a price tag from a shaft and put a head on it,
-intentionally break something right before the one year mark just to cash in a warranty
-etc.
That's all stealing.
If you find a mislabelled item, carry it to the cash and pay for it, you're not stealing, you are just exploiting an error.....still unethical, but not illegal.
Happy shopping, folks.

I think I got a mislabel today at ****s, I went in looking for a back up stick, found this Brine set up sitting ont the rack, last brine one. Grab it look at it, I think at the time its a **** head that ill just pinch, but realize that the head is a Motive and the shaft is a standard Ignite. Now I didnt know the pricing of it but I get home and check it. An Ignite runs around 40 and a Motive is about 70 strung, but the one I got has this horrible rubbery wire mesh so I was like, its a cheap factory stick. I ended up paying 40 bucks for it. IDK if some kid before me was trying to mess around before me or something but wow. That was a great deal I though, got it left. But yeah. Ive got over my stealing days, after getting caught for stealing YuGiOh cards from a grocery store.
