surpirsed no one has asked yet but:
how do you girls approach your draws?
i usually yeild as soon as i can, and have the opponent push their stick over mine, rather than push forward, but i know there are other metods of drawing....so let's hear it :)
also: does the taller girl hold an advantage in a draw?

i think the stronger girl does, beucase when i do it, i get down really low, and i use my calves to lift off. i usually hook the bottom of my stick under the ball, and pull it behind me. altho i think its better to learn to push it forward, so it lands in your attack area quicker. i've just had my friend play D-Wing for so long, i usually just bounce it to her. ohhh and another thing is. whoever gets to the draw line gets to choose which way they wanna stand. the slow poke has to adjust to how the rabbit wants to draw. so get to that line fast after a goal!

It doesn't matter who gets there the fastest, you always face the goal that you are attacking. Unless one person is drawing left handed and one right. Then the right handed player faces the goal and the other player is facing the same way.
It is good to be tall when taking the draw ie Quinn Carney from Maryland. That way you can draw to yourself. Her draws are amazing!!!
Finally..most centers want to pull up and out as they draw the ball. I learned this from college coaches. You have more control over the ball and where you want it to go.

i find that i do better drawing lefty despite the fact that i am right handed, but then, it goes back to by "yeild to pressure, get under and draw to the side middie" methodology
o yeah...those girls that can draw to themself...arugh! i always lose to them (i'm 5'0...very short)
will have to experiment with putting the ball forward to the attack side when i have a chance...push the face of the stick towards the attacking goal and push up you say?

well technically you should always push/pull it to a tall girl that's around the circle if you know that you're short (i'm 5'2) and you have no chance of getting the ball. but yea, try and push it towards the side you're attacking. don't necessary go up.... use the hand closest to the head of your stick to punch out. do a punching motion with your right hand, and kind up punch out towards the girl you want the ball to go to.

I'm actually digging around for more info about the draw, because i'm slated to go back and help coach my old high school team...my personal experience with the draw is weak at best, so.....can anyone give me like a clear list of do's and do nots? taht would be really helpful (for both myself and my team)
From a team strategy standpoint, a common misconception is that the players around the draw circle have to remain still until the umpire blows the whistle. It is not the same as standing on the whistle like during the rest of the game. If you don't like an opponent trying to block you off pre-whistle, move somewhere else. You can create confusion for the other team if you move around a lot outside of the circle to jockey for position. It also helps to disguise your intent of where your Center wants to direct the ball, what direction you want to approach from, etc.

In response to what RYU said, I am not very fast so I dont like to move around before the draw happens, but I like to box the opposing team out like in basketball and step in front of them to get the ball.
And with drawing left handed...I am right handed and whenever I have taken the draw I take it with my left because I feel like i get more control. It's really whatever you feel gives you the best leverage and however you feel the most comfortable.

I do the draw different then most I have tried to do it left handed but I dont feel as strong I am tall so i guess that helps specially when I draw it back to myself a lot. But i hold both hands on top of the stick to get the pull up...It took a lot of practice to pull up and over that way but it works for me. I have a hard time beating left handers but generally against someone who can does it right handed I have the advantage and usually win. But wether or not my team can catch it is another story.
