What's the most pinched head ever made?

Anyways i was wondering if u all knew what is/are some of the most pinched heads. Not heads that u pinched yourselves.

I don't think there is a thread on this but if you went to a site such as www.laxshopper.com and looked at the pics of all heads, you could probobly figure this out on your own. Personally i would think it is the STX deuce.

just to tell you the 1st gen. matrix is much more pinched than the 2nd. That is why they made the 2nd. I've used both.

The idea that an Evo Pro is really pinched is a myth.

When people call Evo/Revo pros "barely legal", they refer to that the head is exactly 6.5 inches at the widest point. The throat area of an Evo/Revo Pro is pretty pinched, but other heads are much more pinched.

I think hes referring to field heads only. And yes, both are pretty pinched. However, Powerplays/Heats get the reputation of being so pinched because both heads are 4.5 inches at the widest point, not necessarily because the heads are very narrow at the throat area.

The most pinched head would be the first gen. Matrix. If strung in certain ways, the head would be so pinched that a ball would get stuck in its pocket. The head also was very weak, and warped very easily and quickly, making it illegal in terms of pinch (on the other hand, an Evo Pro would get illegal by warping in terms of its widest point area).

Also, the Edge-X is marketed by Brine as the "tightest pinched head in production". I guess it is quite pinched if you include the fingers.

And yes, there are a million threads on this, but whatever.

Scoops are actually about 5.5" off the shelf. (4.5" is the legal limit for box).

As for the rails - I think balls are supposed to be 2.5" diameter. With that in mind, I don't figure any manufacturer would dare sell something tighter than 2.7" or so (too many warranty returns when they go illegal after a month or two of game play. There are several sticks with lower throats in the 2.7 to 2.8" range.

Yes it is, but unfortunately, it's a box head so that's why it's so pinched.

depending on how you string it. i have one myself, and if you string the sidewalls a certain way near the bottom of the throat, the ball can get stuck. make sure you string it so that doesn't happen to you. i've learned from experience... :dummy:

I think that the g-force is the most pinched from looking at it in the store. I am just beginning to play lacrosse, and I was trying out heads, and the g-force was the only one that gave me any trouble(i tried e3's, answers, evolutions, and others). I really liked the feel of the answer, and that is the one I think I will get when I need a new head. :thumbsup:

K i believe you. The shape of them are different so i can never decide which is more pinched or not. And the penitrator i did see had like 6d mesh in it and the bigger the mesh is the more pinched it looks.

theres no way in hell that the bionic is as pinched as any of the other heads listed. i have a bionic and an answer. the answer is much more pinched,
