i am searching for a new shaft and i am wondering what the hell a brine mg is. i saw one on lax world

it was going to be brines new shaft, made of magnesium, but it been called out of protection because the coating wore off our sumthing

ITS BEEN CALLED OUT OF PRODUCTION because it was supposedly unsafe, nobody has used it,

Oh my gosh, you really think that a magnesium shaft is going to suddenly burst into flames on the field? It's also not even pure magnesium.

It takes a lot of heat to get a solid hunk of Mg burning. Mg powder burns hot and fast. It was used for many light weight metal applications prior to the advent of Ti manufacturing processes. Pound for pound, Ti is far stronger than Mg which is why ti has replaces Mg in metal applications where weight is critical. In fact Al is stronger than Mg. My guess is that an Mg alloy pole would be a little brittle, but without knowing the alloy composition it's hard to say.
