If you play in the mid-west you might get discrimnated against and get stuffed in goal, but don't worry about it because goal is the best position you can play.

i HATE when people post their STUPID theories that certain parts of the country hit harder or run faster... Please stop this if you post this crap...

ALSO dont try and throw in 4 regions at once, like when someone would say northeast hits hardest...midwest is quickest...south have the best goalies... and west coast have the coolest sticks.......

I especially hate this because....HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!
have you ever played in legue across the nation...
Sure u can watch colleges but thats just a couple teams.

I had to get that off my chest

I haven't heard too much about theories of that sort. The only difference I've been known to believe is that there is a difference between the playstyles of Maryland lacrosse and New York lacrosse.

also re-reading your post PulseSpeed used to live in either MD or NY (I can't remember), two lacrosse hotbeds, and he converted to goalie, so that would make sense. Also I think he wasn't being completely serious.

i haven't really come across threads like that except mayb 1 or 2 but don't get stressed about it...like lottaLaX said, he was probably being a little bit sarcastic

I've seen dozens of threads on here about

-"West Coast is more physical, East is more finesse"

-"Midwest hits harder".

Crap like that.

These threads are typically pointless, and are typically started by a kid who has observed maybe a college game or two and really doesn't know what he's talking about.

you have to be blind to realize that NY and MD have diff styles recently i went to a tourny w/ teams frm all over the country and no team had a similar style

yea, i mean i don't think you can speak about every area in the US, but it's obvious that the east coast is gonna have really good stick skills compared to everybody else.... and in my opinion the Midwest does hit the hardest, cuz most of the guys also play football. (At least the ones I know of... so I'm not saying i know all of them)
