This was sent to me directly from the Central Toronto Canadian Cancer Society.
Dear Jarrett,
Non-for-profits, like the government, can be a bit bureacratic, so I've
tried to figure out how to simplify things for you. Whoever donates to
the
Central Toronto Unit can use the envelopes, we will track what comes
in, and
when you need it, we can supply you with the total. We can't give you
the
information of who's donated because of confidentiality issues. Other
Lacrosse players in other towns would have to donate to their local
branches/units and email you that they have (including how much), so
you can
total those and add them to the number you get from us. That way, when
you
need, you can figure out how much you've raised in total, without
taking any
money. How does that sound? I will also try to find a list with as
many
units as I can.
Hope that's a start.
When do you need the pre-paid envollopes to be ready?
Thanks again for understanding, but if we take other areas' money, they
get
upset.
