accuracy, as a goalie a well placed shot is much more dangerous than a fast one

i'm gonan move this little heated debate into... not here. i think accuracy, but speed is SWEET. just to impress people and stuff with a radar gun. but yea, accuracy rules over.

Ellen, why dont you move this into the Women's General Lacrosse? I can do it if you want me to.

I would say accuracy, especially in women's lacrosse.

im a goalie, accuracy is more important close up,

but when your taking a shot from out, speed obvously does help

Accuracy. I am brand new to the sport, and i could throw the ball as hard as I possible could and still miss the goal! Speed is some thing that should be worked on after the person developes an accurate shot.

well i was just wondering cause when i'm stringing up my stick it's either really accurate but slow or a rocket that is a little inconsistant

Accuracy first then start adding speed to your shot.

accuracy. if you can hit the corners of the cage you'll put it past the keeper every time

accuracy... 75% of my team can shoot faster than i can, but i'm still one of the high scorers on our team... as a middie. speed doesnt mean jack if you cant hit the cage or keep hittin the goalie.

accuracy definitely.. my shots not very hard but i'm the 2nd leading scorer on my team. it's all about the placement!

hmmm im gonna have to go with both. when u get to higher levels of lacrosse, the goalies can save just about anything, so not only do u need accuracy, but you also need a little speed behind your shot

but im going to have to go with westside who said that close up accuracy is most important b/c u dont want to throw it right at the goalie

and from far away a nice hard shot is necessary b/c even if the placement isnt perfect you can catch the gaolie offguard and put it in
