"125,000 PSI strength."

according to Great Atlantic the python is 105,000 PSI and the Python opera is 110,000 psi. and the matrix is big enough to pass a men's stick check (my coahc used one for summer league) and is normal width. AND MUCH CHEAPER. what gives?

But of course, like all other women's sticks, it is thinner than a men's stick.

If you want to fit a men's head on a thinner women's shaft, then you'll need a spacer/adaptor for it. The thinner diameter and wood construction are rulebook legal.

Thats a great post by someone in the rules forum, i started a thread a while back cuz i wanted a woodie but could only find womens wooden shafts and asked if it was possible to use...So you could use that shaft...if you were so inclined....

My only question is why would a woman need that strong of a shaft...i mean no disrepect to their game...but its kind of pointless i think...

Actually they have matrix's in guys diameters I think. Pretty sure I have felt a few like that, even if they say womens. Either way for the womens game, what happens if a girl wants a composite shaft? Maybe they like the feel, and in fact believe it or not, womens shafts do dent up pretty badly. Hence the reason to upgrade to a more durable shaft, plus, they're a lot lighter than aluminium. It's all preference, and a lot of girls choose to get a non-stock shaft for different reasons.

Yeah, the matrix only comes in a mens version as of now. Also, most high end women's heads have men's size throats, so it canjust slide it with no adapter.

not sayin it's not a good idea or anything but...you really wouldn't want to be using a womens shaft in a game would you??

It's almost as heavy as an Stx ti, and I do like the Hawaiian floral-pattern. I think that this may be similar to the harrow box; they weigh just the same and seem to be just as strong and similar grip.
