I've always done over, and I never knew why. A stringer suggested to me that I do under, because it doesnt make a natural "fold" in my pockets, near the shooters (its hard to explain). What do you guys do? And do you know if it makes any difference?
(thanks to kryptic and orange for the pics/examples)

I start with over and around the middle I switch to under. Just the way I've been taught, and it seems to form a nice pocket for me.

I switched from over to under over a year ago and I haven't gone back. I don't know why, but I do.

under & over, what the heck, stringing mesh is not complex...how bout some innovation...I recently did a few mesh pockets that use 2nd & 3rd sidewall strings...(different from orange's double job), basically the outside channel stringing used in big word trad forming independent tiny loops for the mesh to hang on attached either under or over...hastens pocket development ensures more even hang & cradle...I'll display a pic if anyone is interested.

I used to do it over then realized that if you string it right under works the same to, but i've actually got a double sidewall on my stick right now.

The pictures aren't too great, but it's hard to show. Basically you string under the mesh hole to the sidewall string or over.
