OK so since everyone else was stringing RP's i thought i would to. but for some reason i cant get the knots on the front to interlock. You can see in the pics below, i can get the back to interlock correctly but the front is messed. Can anyone help?

You're stringing around the leather the wrong way. If you're looking from the top (from the back), you went over the leather both ways. On one of the ways you must come from below the leather. If you need I can try to whip out some paint shop skills lol
Looks really good so far though. The knots is what everyone on here seems to be messing up on.

so wait do you mean like start from the bottom of the head then go up when doing the sidewalls? cause i went down from top to bottom both times, so what you said does make sense.

It doesn't matter which direction you come from, but if you think about normal trad and the way they have to interlock it's the same thing. When you are looking a head with the scoop at the top and the throat at the bottom, one side has to come around the leather and one side has to go below the leather. So, if you went down both ways, on your two sidewall laces between the inside and outside leathers, go behind the leather so it should interlock right. Have you ever done trad before? Think about how you do that, it's the same thing except two stiches are much closer together... here let me make some pics lol

ok, so the black strip is the leather, red and green represent crosslace coming from both sides.
The first pic is of an RP knot, look at how (from the top) the red goes over the leather, around and over. The green on the other hand goes below the leather, up and around, and over.
The second pic is of a normal trad knot. That is basically what you are doing except close together twice.
Oh, in my webshots I have a goalie stick, in I think like Sticks or something, and it has a hitch knot for reference if you want it.
