The Supercrosses are a very undurable glove so if your looking for gloves that will last a while and are more worth your money, I reccomend the Superfreaks.

cant tell ya about durability...and i understand alot of people on this board dont think they are...but i can tell ya 2 LN guys liked em and have em...
for protection and flexability and price...i like crosses over freaks...if durability issue is true then i will change my vote to freaks

I would say freaks i was usin my friends and they r so good. They actually fit like a glove. Its like theres nothing there, it is simply in my mind the greatest glove ever. YEs it is expensive but if you dont mind spending a lot of money i would definetly go with the superfreaks

definitely go for the freaks. i used both gloves and when i used the superx's, two of my fingers took some damage. on my index near my knuckle, some veins popped or something; it just looked really weird. on my middle finger's nail, there was internal bleeding. but when i used the freaks, i took every hit without feeling a thing. i only use the superx's 'cause they look amazing and the flexibility is pretty good.

i like the crosses' over the freaks
with the new model out hte durabitilty issue is gone, they double stiched the thing and fixed it up. they are a much better glove.

freaks...my friend has a pair and they are amazing, and ive tried on teh supercorsses and it stings when you get hit in the hand, but you cant even feel anything when you get hit with the freaks on. also you cant even tell that they are there, its amazing

i have researched and sampled both..about 5 kids on my team have the freaks, but the mesh completely ripped outta the palm of one kids and anothers is starting to tear...so in conclusion i gotta say this:
Mobility: Freaks (by just a lil)
Durability: Crosses
Protection: Tie
The reason i take the crosses is because they are lighter yet very protective and theyre cheaper!

deffinently go with the superfreaks, they are the greatest, and they have built in slash guards, they are deffinently worth the money, my friend has a pair and you have almost perfectly free hand movement, they are the greatest!

when the first batch of supercrosses came out, the sewing pretty much sucked so for some players, the gloves just fell apart. i think the supercrosse protection sucks though. from a check, my finger had that internal bleeding thing...you know, when your nail turns black.

if its only between freaks and superx's then get freaks and if you dont need these gloves right away then try to wait for the new warrior glove in the summer.

between those two the supercrosses, but i play a middle school league, so the hitting isn't as hard...
But if your poor like me then get meteors or mercurys.... i love the mercs

durability has nothing to do with your ability to type. that's like flexibility/maneuverability. good try though.

if i had tape on my shaft (which i do) i would get the crosses because the superfreaks have this one whole section of the palm just mesh and that part would definetly tear apart
if i didnt have tape i would go with the freaks

Well, considering the child has most likely bought the product, I say we leave it alone. But I'd wait for Defts or STX G-Force gloves.

same thing happened to me too!!!! but i've never tried the freaks but supercrosses rule

i have a pair of freaks and im in love with them if you do end up getting freaks make sure you get 13 inch b/c i got 12 inch and i had to strech them out to fit right

i have a pair of crosses and i think they are amazing... i have talked to a guy who works at lacrosse unlimited and he said the freaks are an absolute waste of money because they fall apart too fast... crosses have great protection i think and flexibility... i love them
