Pita on Octane?

I'm looking at making my first pita and putting it up on an stx octane (old school) just in case i mess up. I was wondering if this is possible and if it would be a good combo(just so i'm not wasting my time)

Why not? Assuming the octane isn't on your main stick, this way you'll get to try out a pita and you'll be ok if you mess up.

An octane with a pita would have a nice "old school" look to it. (pretty old head with a traditional job).
