You can, but it doesn't turn out the greatest and when it rains the dye comes out.

Brandon, you must have dyed it wrong or not dyed it long enough. Dye doesn't run.

generally if you dye mesh it makes it harder. so say you dyed soft mesh it would become like a semi-hard. but this doesnt last too long and the mesh will get soft again. but the dye color will stay, it doesnt run.

Well I threw in my mesh at the same time as the head I was dyeing, and the head came out dark blue (royal blue dye) so I definately left it in the dye long enough, and the mesh turned almost black. It was soft mesh but turned rock-hard, and when I used it in the rain during one of my games the dye ran all over the head from the mesh. Just my personal experience...And I'm pretty sure I didn't dye the head or mesh wrong thanks.

Short Answer-Yes

I dyed some hard 6d mesh in the orange RIT dye while i was doing my head and it came out great...heres a picture...

I rinsed it off then did it again...And im pretty sure that you could probably just follow the RIT instructions for dying cloth and throw a whole bunch of mesh in there if you wanted to do a mass dye of all ur mesh, nylons, and shooters

Yes, but it doesn't work that good, and no, unless it's white.

Jimalax doesn't use Rit to dye their mesh I'll tell you that much. When I dyed my mesh once, or twice, it just came to be a faded version of the color I wanted it to be.

Wasn't it you that asked that exact question and I provided pictures of my own head that was dyed strung? Why must you ask random questions that you know the answers to?

Try using fabric dye...I've heard that comes out really well with mesh. I also use it for dyeing my heads because there's no RIT dye in Canada.

You could only dye it a darker color I think...which really limits your options.

JIMALAX DOESNT DYE THEIR MESH THEY COAT THEM SIMILAR TO TRHE COATING ON HARD MESH. IF YOU RUB ANY SOLVENT LIKE NAIL POLISH REMOVER ON THE MESH THE COLOR BEGINS TO FADE.

hscustomlax- capslock off... its really not hard to do, i promise

to brandon and slinkyspine- rit dye IS fabric dye... if you look at the packages or the site, that is its intended use

tbsundae- dying the red mesh if it came from the factory that way is probably not gonna work out so well, but u can give it a shot if you like
