I'm selling parts from a 66 chevelle and I put an add up on Hoobly.com. I got this guy interested thinking he was legit but check out this email. It's so obvious what he's doing. He's gonna get 2,000 and the 500$ the parts are worth.

Hi Sam,

The fund is in America currency. You will have to cash the money from any Cashing store around .I was paid by my employer in US Dollars. When you cash the money from Cashing store, you will deduct the $500 for your money.I am in Manchester presently for a job.

I want to come to you to pick the Chevy Chevelle Parts by my self on as soon as possible.

So when you have deduct the $500,you will send the ballance of $2,000 to me for my flight ticket to the United States. When I come back to my house,I will check you you at home for the pick up of the Chevy Chevelle Parts .Immediately you got the money get back to me

for the information you will send the $2,000 to through Western Union Money Transfer.

I guess you can get any Western Union center around you.

I have called the Airline for thier quote for the travelling ticket already.immediately i get the money from you,I will purchase my travelling ticket. So get back to me as soon as you get the Money.I will mail you tommorrow about it.

I am waiting for your reply.

Yea thanks, I thought it was from SA, wasn't completely sure. Anyway it's a good story, although a little old.

p-p-p-powerbooks RULE! you should do something like that to this guy like buy a little RC car and grab some gears and stuff out and then mail him those in a BIG box so it looks like the parts. or else pretend to go on vacation when he comes to pick up the parts.

Turn this around and get him good. Some "lady" tried to rip off my sister on a car online, but thanks to some snooping, some friends of mine made sure she got hers.

No, don't turn it around on him right now cause he could be making a genuine offer and in his mind that math is correct, so you have to just ask him alot of stupid questions that have nothing to do with the sale and if he persists, then just don't comunicate with him anymore. I actually think his paycheck is 2500.00 and he wants you to cash it cause its in american funds and he is in europe and can't get the money.
