Do you play wallball with or without your gloves?

I think one of the most important things you should do while practicing any kind of individual lacrosse (ie wallball/cradling) is to wear your gloves.

so.. do you guys wear your gloves when you play wallball??

i wear my gloves almost everytime i throw my stick. and everytime i play wallball. its pointless to do it without gloves.

usually i play wallball with like friends and we ride our bikes around so no but when im playing somewhere near my house then i'll wear gloves.

I wear them whatever I do with my stick (apart from carrying it to the sports club). Its not a problem for me to do it with them (they're supercrosses) and its not much effort to use them when I practice but it makes a big difference to how much progress you make compared to practicing without glves

dude i wear my gloves at the dinner table.lol...& whenever i have to get osmehting out a deep dark hole in the ground, gloves come in handy then too, give you that extra feeling of security.lol....i wear my gloves everywhere, cept about 1/2 way through whatever lax season we're in im forced to take them off while at home cause of the smell....

yeah usually always wear my gloves whenever i have my stick in my hands, but i haven't been wearing them much bc i just washed them and am trying to keep em clean so i can sell them, i forgot how white the gladiator palm is brand new

i wear them only because if you do new things/styles of playing without your gloves, when you put them on its totally different

i not only wear my gloves when i do wall ball, but i also wear my helmet. I got a wall thats uneven and i never know which direction the balls gonna come back. Helmets saved my head numerous times. It also helps because you never play without your helmet on.

Well, for a fun catch (I.e. Dad & Son), don't wear your gloves, it just takes fun away from it. But for an actual "I want to get better" catch, wear your gloves, and practice the cradle with your gloves on. It's the only way to fine-tune your hands to catching and keeping control of the ball. When it comes to wall ball, if you're bored and doing it, save yourself the time and don't wear gloves. But if you are doing it because you need to practice and can't find a partner, wear your gloves. It's just a matter of actual practicing or just having some fun.

I dont always wear my gloves when im just playin wall ball or messin around wit my friends cause u can do alot of tricks with ur gloves on and i think you get better when u switch on and off cause you have mor control and it makes you better when you put gloves on. but if your gloves are broken in good you should have no problem on or off

Yes you should. In fact I am sure some very good players practice (or used to practice) without gloves. But when you get them back, use them.

Although I voted sometimes, I try to use them when I can. When I first started playing, I would get really annoyed and not want to practice because I knew I needed to do it with gear on. But what I do now is just tell myself that if I don't use them, I'll have a much smaller chance of progressing in my skills and would only hurt myself.

i almost always wear my gloves while playing wallball and such, cuz if u play without em it gives you an unreal sense of control that you dont have in a game with your gloves on.... i should practice with my helmet too, but that just gets too hott and sweatty sometimes

sometimes but mostly without... I guess i'm too lazy. Then again, when I practice in my back yard I try new things that require me to have full sensation of my shaft etc. Gloves would only limit my feel. Once I've fully adopted the skill then I wear my gloves. however I'll admit that wearing gloves does make quite the difference.
EDIT: also I don't want to tear my gloves to shreads with over use. Cuz honestly when I set out to practice we're talking hours.

When you get them you won't feel that way. In fact you will be really annoyed because they will make basic stuff frustratingly hard. But get used to them, because you can't play in a game without them.
