On Monday I'm going to start a workout program. It will help get me ready for wrestling, and lacrosse. I plan on running, and lifting. Is there anything else I can do to help? I thought about a diet? And would supplements be good too. How about CellTech?

jumping rope is great...protein helps build muscle...so steak/chicken/fish is good to eat

Don't use supplements unless you're over 16 or 17. I'm 14/15 and have tried them and from experience, what you gain is not worth the risk of it affecting your growth. Protein shakes are fine, but real supplements, like CELLTECH, shouldn't be used.
And don't believe anything you read in 'Muscle and Fiction' either.

**** man. uhmm... as far as supplements go, i guess you could always go with protien shakes, zink, Glutimine, and/or creatine depending on your age. And as far as a workout plan goes. try to do low reps heavy weight, like 1-5 reps. This isnt the ideal muscle growing rate, but what the low reps do is it works the "fast twitch muscle fibers" in other words making you able to have more power. Like a quicker release i should say. Actualy, you should mix it up, like mabe 2 weeks of 6-10 reps, and then 2 weeks of 1-5. As far as a diet goes, fish, chicken, try to cut back on sugar, and eat other carbs before your workouts to well.. do better.

YES, definately remember carbs r ur friend when working out. I hardly eat enough carbs or water before working out, and it screws ur routine up.

Remember with supplements, you have to take them cautiously. Nobody knows what long term effect creatine and such has on your liver, or other organs.
