until now, i've played with kids around my age, 13-15ish. but now, as i go to high school, i'm getting kinda scared because i'm gonna play against like these huge d players that'll probably hit harder and faster than ever. is it normal to be a little anxious?

i have to say getting leveled really doesnt hurt as much as it seems....i play D so i say i've only been dropped by other players when i take the ball past midfield on a clear...and even those hits are far and few between..but yea its normal to be anxious/nervous but just be quick on ur feet and keep an eye out and you'll be fine

Don't play timidly, you're more likely to get hurt if you go in for a ground ball halfa$$ed. You should be nervous, it means you care, and hopefully you can channel that extra energy and play well. Good luck, play your game!

it's def. normal to b anxious about playing on a new level of lax...just don't let it affect ur game play...after awhile u'll get used to it...u can practice shooting on a goal w/ like targets put in the corners
