theres a few differences in appearance and format. and the music store is slightly different

i like the ability to get organize your playlists into folders but the new display screen always looks akward whenever i see it

you can organize playlist into folders, you can see both the name of the song and the artist at the same time in the play window, there are parental controls, there is an option for "smart shuffle," and it has a bit more of a square looks. There is also a smart search, where you can choose to search in music or audiobooks or podcasts, etc. also, its a bit more sleek. You've just gotta see it.

I just updated mine, and it does look better. What does organizing playlists into folders mean? Is it just that you can save a playlist on Itunes as a folder on your computer's Hard Drive?

The problem with itunes 4.9, is (what I heard) was that there was a file readable only by Macs, but was included in the windows version as well. So basically causing a bunch of errors.

Just got v5. Pretty nice, I still find podcasts to be weird and a waste.

Mulitplugin by Localhost @ the www.aqua-soft.org makes a program that does it.

But the newest version is in beta.

resexcellence.com has 'em. Easy to use too. But they haven't updated with itunes 5 as far as I know.
