He was so great because you didnt have to listen to him for 5 minutes to hear one joke. He just spit them out over and over again. when he died my and my friend had a tribute night. We bought 3 engery drinks, a box of donuts, cheezey squeezy stuff, crackers and a ton of candy for some reason, and listened to him for 3 hours.
Mitch all together was the best CD

Mitch Hedberg was the man. I had tickets to his show and he died the day before the show on his way to Baltimore. He has 2 CD's out, and they showed his special on Comedy Central last week.

I agree. He always looked straight down at his feet too. He would fail my speech class miserably. He is a very funny guy though, probably my favorite comedian of all time. Every time I hear his Smokey the Bear joke I laugh my (NO CURSING) off.

my favorite joke was the sandwhich one "can i have a pastrami sandwhich. what kind of bread? rye no (NO CURSING) bannana do you have bannana bread. what kind of cheese? cottage. Get the (NO CURSING) out! im not making a bannana bread pastrami cottage cheese sandwhich. that will severly ruin my reputation." soo funny i think ill make a bannana bread pastrami cottage cheese sandwhich now

He always looked at his feet because he was always very very very very very nervous about doing stand up and speaking in public. He never thought he was funny so he would look down as well so that couldn't see the audiences faces if his joke wasn't funny. I've read alot of articles about mitch, even though he was on herion, he was a very giving and thankful person.

Mitch Hedburg truley was a master of comedy. His jokes were outrageous and just always back to back. He always has been the first person I go to when im having a bad day, because he just makes you forget about anything bad thats going on. His death really was a sad day. I'll never forget his stuff.
I like escalators, 'cus they never really break down. They just turn into stairs. Escolator, temporarilly stairs, sorry for the convenience.
lol, classic...

Looks like his heart didn't kill him after all. To bad such a good guy had to die for such a stupid reason
