headaches. if you touch your head and it hurts. blurred vision for (apparently) no reason. i'd reccomend going and seeing a doctor.

yeah i have rather bad headaches. thats an obvious one. like the ones u wouldnt normally know about. and the doctors around here dont do anything but say "get plenty of rest". lol thanks for the help tho. its startin to get annoying because i cant play football and im not remember homework sometimes and stuff.

headaches, throwing up. memory loss.
i got a concussion and cant even remember being hit. i was unconscious for about 2 minutes (or so they say). when i came to, i had no idea what day it was until i figured out that i was at my soccer game so it must be saturday.

Why didn't you just go to WebMD.com or something along those lines? you know, with like, real doctors? What do the goons on TLF know anyway?

I was just about to say that.

Marflax, get a grip, dude. Why did you ask a lacrosse forum about concussions before a health website, coach, trainer, or doctor?

TLF is getting out of hand in your life.

according to web md symptoms are:
Brief loss of consciousness.
Inability to remember what happened immediately before and after the injury (amnesia).
Confusion.
Asking the same question over and over.
Dizziness, vertigo, lightheadedness, or unsteadiness that prevents standing or walking.
Blurred or double vision.
Ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
In a small child, increased fussiness or lack of energy.

Symptoms of concussion can be mild to severe, depending on the severity of the injury. If the injury is more serious, symptoms will usually develop within the first 24 hours after the accident. Symptoms may last for days, weeks, or even months following the injury.

Put it this way, if youre typing on TLF, you dont have a concusion.

If your having that much trouble.. why not have your parents give you a ride? or call for an ambulance if you really cant walk that well or your vision is that bad.

hmm good point. never thought of that either. i am not thinking straight. my mom is upstairs but she says all the doctor will say is "get plenty of rest" so she thinks theres no point in going. oh well. thanks anyways.

Or you could have some serious damage being done to your brain.. i would tell your mother to take you, its not something that just rest would take care of.

If you feel tired alot (and not from lack of sleep), vision problems; I've only almost got a concussion, so my symptoms were alittle weird. I fell slipped and slammed my head at the bowling alley (on a step leading to the lanes) and saw the world layed over in a tint of purple, with the edges alittle blurry or dark. Also, I was tired. It was full blown as far as I could tell, the colors lasted a few minutes, and I was okay the next day, but it was weird because there wasn't any pain since my head was in such a weird way.

It is basically the same symptoms as a migraine.

It can't be to bad if you are able to be on a computer and type coherent thoughts.

when i got a concussion, the last time, i also saw a few odd colours. For about 10 minutes things were somewhat a shade of light green and it felt like i had a massive headrush, like from tobacco.
