Sorry but please bear with me in another girl problem thread, I need some of the resident mac daddies of the forums to give me some advice. ok so there is this girl in my math class and I think she's really cute (she looks like a filipino/guamanian/white version of jessica alba but that’s not relevant) but I haven’t really talked to her except for one time for like 2 minutes but its weird it feels different with her than it does with other girls that I think are cute but my problem is I’m kind of shy when I first meet girls and I cannot in anyway build up the balls to approach a girl I don't know, so basically I have such a fear of rejection I can't even find the courage to talk to a new girl. But once I get passed the awkward 'I don't want to look like an idiot so I just won't say anything' stage I’m fine. So I’m just looking for advice on easy ways to start up a conversation with her without looking like a douche and in a non embarrassing way and a way that a guy like me can handle.

um yeah the first three there were good, but the last couple may be a little to strong and might scare her. Just make small talk, "wow our teacher is so weird". "did u hear about ____" Just make her laugh and then things will open up

the only thing i know about her is that she used to go to catholic school, she's new from L.A. and she has a pin on her backpack that says 'i love emo' which is great because i used to go to catholic school and i love emo (she's not like your typical emo person in any way and neither am i) i guess i could play that angle

That's the biggest thing about these threads, you all have to be nice and honest, and to be straightforward, get your balls to drop, and simply get a conversation started. Sometimes I find I need to do that too, I need to get a girlfriend soon for Homecoming.

wow dude u kind of sound like me, as in not being able to approach girls for fear of rejection. However, if they are somewhat familiar just go on about a friendly conversation. U dont have to get her to go out with you in some 2 days or anything!!!! THESE THINGS TAKE TIME! You need to play it out slow and get to know eachother before considering anything. Simply because you may nnot like eachother, because a relationship is soooooo much more than looks.

Relationships are about personality, physical attraction just comes along with it. And do what you feel like, no what anyone else thinks. If your friends say why are you going out w/ her: 1) They are immature 2)They havent ever had a relationship 3) They are most likely jealous that you have someone to care about / who cares about you..
