ive never heard of them.
and if your going to make a thread about a band I suggest you have some songs or a website handy.
Yeah, i used to really like them, but they sort of faded out. I think im seeing them in november. New stuffs pretty cool.

I love how they have a song called "sell out" and yet they are complete sellouts.

Punk= you know, punk
Ska = Jamaican style of music before reggae.
its punk with a horns section and some reggae-ish rhythms. (if i remeber correcly)
theyre pretty good. ska kinda has a sorta underground following nowadays. but reel big fish kinda got super mainstream some time ago, like all bands do.
They arent that super mainstream, ive never heard them on the radio and theyve never been on MTV/VH1. They arent very reggae sounding, they rely more on crisp guitar lines and horns.

Big D and the Kids Table is a favorite ska band of mine. i dig Less than Jake's old stuff too. RX Bandits also. Reel Big Fish = not so much.
nothing wrong with a little ska here and there

i like. Got All there albums besides there newest ): I actually played a converted jazz band song for my old school.

just kinda got into ska and reel big fish was like my friends favorite band so i decided i would try them out and there good so im gonna try some of the other bands you were talking about. my friend also have a ska band its pretty good and they do shows and stuff and people where i live know who they are kinda. what are some of the best ska songs/bands in your opinion so i can download them thanks

Reel Big Fish are one heck of a good band, but I prefer Streetlight Manifesto and Keasby nights era Catch 22 (They suck without Tom). All in all ska is rad, so enjoy.

I quite like Reel Big Fish. Then again, I like all ska (I actually get made fun of for being somewhat of a clasical rudeboy aka a person who,listens and dresses to ska themes If you like RBF, you might like these guys-

Ska is the white man's reggae.
I like ska music....hate ska concerts. But RBF is really good some of their better songs are "Where Have You Been", their cover of "Brown Eyed Girl", "I Want Your Girlfriend To Be My Girlfriend", and "Take Me On"
they also do a great cover of 'hungry like the wolf'
Beer - The greatest song ever. Ever. Ok maybe not ever. But damn good.
