Does anyone know if you could use them on anyshafts becuase it says it needs to be on the crankshaft on laxshopper cuz i would get one if it didnt need to be on a special shaft

The new ones coming out are offset, I believe. Theyre only recommended to used with the crankshafts, I dont see why they wouldnt "work" on a "normal" shaft.
edit- just checked, all of them are indeed offset.

I mean that all of the new STX heads are offset, not straight. By the title Iassumed you thought the new STX heads were straight.

Wait you can use the straight heads on any shaft. I meant it's meant for the Crankshaft and that you can't use an offset head on the Crankshaft. I'm confusing myself.

Ok, I'd like to happily say here that everyone here is wrong.
1) The V-Groove and Kannon are onset heads. The term "straight" head is misleading. To be non-offset, that doesn't mean the heads are completely straight. STX heads, like some other onset heads such as the Penitrator, have a curvature in their sidewall. However, the curvature has it so the head starts and begins at the same place. To be offset, that would mean the scoop would be lower than the throat if you were holding your stick parallel to the ground.
2) The V-Groove and Kannon are actually made to work on crankshafts specifically, so STX has designed them so that the scoop of the head is actually a little higher than the throat if you were to hold the head parallel to the ground, meaning they're pretty much a reverse-offset. if you put it on a regular shaft, it will feel very weird and the head will be curved forward. It's like what Brine did with the Xtreme a few years ago by making it forward offset. By putting a crankshaft on the Kannon or V-Groove, the forward offset is removed, and you have the normal offset design of a regular head.

so... the kannon and v groove are onset and specifically made for the crankshafts. riiiightio.
