Are there any real differences performance wise between screw in cleats and molded cleats?

i would guess it is preference, but i think molded cleats perform better. They seem like they grip better and are better designed cleat pattern. The only bad part about molded is that you can't change the old worn down cleats.
edit: Molded cleats dont wear down as fast as removable cleats, but you still have to eventually buy a new pair of cleats

You could have searched...........there are a few threads on Detachable vs. molded cleats. But anwyayz, molded cleats tend to wear pretty fast if you play a lot. And detachables dont always give you the best traction and can sometimes lost one of the spikes. But id recommend detachable cleats over molded.

I really couldn't care, molded cleats are all around better in my opinion. Even though the cleats wear down, they last longer than the replacable detachable cleats.

i like molded ones better, they seem easier/more comfortable to run in because ur not just standing on the 7 tips of plastic, but i use detachables because i nice pair of molded cleats is hard to find

usually screwins wear down faster thats why they are replaceable but both are good

I wear molded. Just because I dont feel like changing the spikes.

I keep a pair of BOTH handy. If the field is extremely dry, or it is a particular version of fieldturf or nexturf, I might switch to molded. Otherwise, I like detatchable. When I played soccer, they used to have titanium spikes for my Copas.

My preference is detachable because when it rains or is crappy out I change to longer spikes.

Just because they're smaller looking spikes, that doesn't mean they're detachable. I am 100% sure they only come in molded. They only come in molded because the speed burns are supposed to be super light-making a detachable spike cleat would add too much weight on in the eyes of Warrior. Notice that the color on the spikes is identical to the rubber soles.

Yah speed burns have the same 14 or so spike pattern as nike TD cleats and reeboks molded speed cleats, it feels similar to detachable, but are better on new field turf
