I am looking at titanium shafts and the mohawk ones at like 50-55 bucks. I was wondering if they are any good and what the shape is like.

I have one, it's very heavy but seems basically unbreakable. I guess it has the shape of a Titan Classic or STX Ti? And good luck finding one, they seem to be out of stock everywhere.

I also have one. The ridges seem a bit more sharp on mine. It is comparable to the weight of my old version stx ti. Both are great shafts. The mohawk ti is really thick. I will try to get pictures.

Why not just try mohawkintlacrosse.com? Just send them an email that you want a shaft and im sure theyll send you one for only about $65. I have one and so does basically everyone else on my team (both field and box) and they are by far the most affordable and durable shaft ive ever had. Its definately worth a measly 65 bucks.

yes they are legal for field.

great shafts, strong supporter of them.

Decent weight, you get use to it after awhile, but if youve been using like a db803 for awhile then its gonna seem like your carrying a small kid in your hands.

very strong, ive had mine since april i believe, and only 1 dent.

I think I heard somewhere it was 9/10ths as thick as the Fatboy. So, almost the same.

You wouldn't need to cut the shaft.

it weighs around 7.5 oz- 8 oz, the weight is overrated it isnt all that heavy.

You really don't notice the wieght unless you've been playing withan 803. Like it's hardly heavier than anyother titanium.

yes it is definetly worth getting for the money, and this is coming from someone who doesnt like heavy shafts. it will only be as heavy as people make it out to be if you switch from a light shaft, i switched from a kpro which is prolly why i didnt like it as much, but i was messing around with it at a lax camp and hitting my friends stick (c405) and his kept getting little nicks in it and nothing happened to the mohawk, i wasnt even swinging hard either, i was just sort of holding it up and dropping it on the shaft.

First of all They're are to dif. shafts... One really light one thats unbeleivably strong... And one thats a monster its kinda heavy but it's indestructible ( the old one ) The shaft has no grip it is just plain titanium. When you first get one it is kinda like gray ish stained from a factory it is'nt powder coated to lok all shiny but once you use it it will be all shiny. I swear to god he gets them made in a random metal factory cause all he does is stick a sticker on it in wich you can pell of or it will just fall off. This stick is so worth it, it is the best strengt to weigth ratio no to mention the price of aluminum.
