I was wondering what gear (stick, helmet, pads, gloves, etc.) is best suited for a new player (Defense). I am not looking to drop a whole lot of money, but I also don't want to get something cheap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I suggest the X-factor gel gloves and Enigma shoulder pads from DeBeer unless you're gonna wine about taking hits, Stick-wise all personal preference just try stuff out, and I suggest F-15 best shaft out there for a pole and cheap.

i'd recommend any of the sale heads from great atlantic, namely the cyber, and the x-factor gels and an f-15. super solid shaft. go to lacrossedigest.com for the f-15.

here is what you need get on lacrosse.com get the sleevles rhino skin ($45) or x factor gel shoulder. Get stx exo elbo pads ($30) . Get on ebay not and get mecury pro stars (40) and a edge plus(20). then go to your local store and get a f 15 d pole (50) no power grip so your gloves can live. And finaly if your starting off a infinity from stryke ($50) at galyans

You should get the Warrior: MLL Elbow Sleeve arm pads. They don't have much protction, butt I don't think you'll be running up-field to often.

Thanks for all your help guys. I went on lacrosse.com last week and got an F15 shaft and Edge head (I'm loving the combo). I also ordered a Brine Triad ST helmet and Rhinoskin (sadly the helmet and pads are on back order so I am still waiting to get them...)

do NOT get MLL Elbow Sleeves, your new so the lack of protection could hurt alot, get brine triton elbow pads, good protection, flexable
