i went to the penn state camp... the varsity high school players one. it was for all positions, but the goalies went in a separate group and worked with the penn state goalie.
since i had never had any prior goalie training it was pretty good to start out with since i had no clue what to do. i learned a lot. i want to try an actual goalie camp now to get more advanced training...

There's a Pilat camp in Cocoa Beach, I believe, sometime over Christmas break. It might be filled up by now though. Nobody has mentioned Peak Performance on here yet, I went to Pilat's camp in New York and then this one right after. Two kind of seperate schools of thought on positioning and general goalie play, but it was a very helpful difference that let me determine what style worked best for me. I'd recommend either one.

you can go to any camp that on the staff there are a lot of top shooters. go there and during water breaks or any time off have some of the shooters shoot on you. you get constant repititions and they will find your weak spot and drill you there. so you will go back home with not a single weak spot. thats how you take advantage of a camp.

Hey I went to pilats in NY at storm king boarding school and i was disapointed. The coaches ands shooters there were not great, I see better shots in the founders league where i play. BD's camps nice theres group rotations in the morning and afternoon also drills with attackmen and some college poles then evening is like mini games tons of fun good workout
Tillman Johnson, Trevor Tierney, Paul Schmoler and the guy who wore football pants at Cuse were just a few coaches there. Peak was Similar staff to BD's, but at a larger scale. Lots of pros and college guys. Only thing is its gotten kinda big, but they keep the ratio pretty decent like 1:6 coach to camper whereas BD's is liek 1:4 or 5

i went to Bill Pilats for a couple of years....one thing they offer which was very satisfactory to me was that they video taped you getting shots and would critque it. They have a lot of counslers who know what they're talking about...its pricey but worth it
laxngoalie

Peak does the video thing too
