Kicked off lax team?

I just got in a fight recently and i got a 5 day inschool and had to go to the station. I havent sined a plege card or anything. Our team is considered a club still and practice hasnt started yet does anyone know if i will be kicked off the team. Cause id b so pissed

Probably not...if you do, you could take up serious issue with it. The only possible way I see you legally getting "kicked off" is if you don't pay any necessary club fees.

whoa... don't get into fights. i learned last year. last day before exams i got in a very minor fight, almost didn't get to take those babies. no good. but then i moved, and it's behind me.

naw, you wont get kicked off. one of the girls on my team is in NC right now, cuz she got caught for drunk driving, so she had to go down there for her court date. guess what. she got placed in jail for 3 days. so i think that might be a little worse than you, and she's still gonna be able to play.

I doubt they would kick you off for a fight. It's not that serious, but you may get a few laps or extra drills because of the fight.

As for getting kicked off a club team...it can and will happen. As a club team coach, I have explicit rules for my team. No drugs, smoking, or alcohol. I can't do anything if they partake in those when there is no practice or games, but if they show up intoxicated or anything, they're off the team. Since it's not a "sanctioned team", coaches don't have to put up with anything that could put them into a compromising situation.

yea dude, fights are a part of the game. They happen. Whenever I get into fights my coach just makes me run a few extra laps at practice. He understands that it is necessary for the teams morale to defend our pride.

It was so funny though the kid who started it was a total *** hole and basically everyones been coming up to me and congradulating me. Most upperclassmen its pretty cool except the whole suspending thing. I got taken out in a cop car, and everyone was sayin i hit my head on the car. There r some funny rumors going around mostly in my favor

i think you'll be fine, you might get a little punishment or no punishment from coach, matters on who it is, my coach will make get mad and stuff

you know what's really stupid? when guys fight during games. i went to the fairfax vs westfield game, and there was this stupid guy, he had this really REALLY cool stick tho, it was orange mesh! anyways, he was guarding this guy that was shorter than him, and he just kept shoving him and the ref had to break it up, and then he started a fight with the kid again, who happens to be one of my really good friends. and the guy w/ the orange mesh said that my friend threw the ball at him. total BS, if you can't control your anger, dont make up excuses for it. the orange mesh guy was mb5. he's an amazing player, but i lost all attraction to him when he started wailing on my friend for no reason.
