US Team Uniforms

Is it just me or the US national team's unis horrible? On all the players it seems they got shorts too big and the unis are bland. Too much white. Also the riddell helments make me want to throw up. Look at how long Scott Urick's shorts are.

I think their uni's look tight. I'm a fan of white. Makes me feel thuggalicious. I like the feeling of white uni's, but we're black and yellow. Yet our colors are cardinal red and gold. Confusing. I'd like us to be white home jerseys with white shorts and maroon away jerseys with maroon, red and gold helmets, but we're not even close to that. Argh. Long shorts are where it's at. Urick looks like my old team captain. Short little legs. Like a dachshund.

I thought I was the only one that wore super baggy lax shorts...oh, well. Now everyone that made fun of me for it has to bag on the US team too. I like the unis, and check those gloves - glads I believe? Who said they would be using glads at lax for leukemia...oh wait that was me. Some shoguns mixed in there for effect. The white is tight, I must say. And what's up with lax.com bagging on RP? Did he pass out during the game or something? The riddell helmets look a lot better than I thought they would, though. K4T, still not for me.

Yeah i think the white looks sweet, For the worlds they will get another uni aswell probabley a nave blue one. As for the gear well i'm not a massive fan of the riddel helmets but the stx gear looks sweet, i never though i would see the days the powell bro's used protons. Oh well it doesen't really matter you guys are gona look stupid no matter when we come out and beat you in the final of the worlds.

uni's arent that bad, as Dan mentioned white is gansta for uni's....helmets looks like crap though but what do you expect with Riddell

I like white; especially white tops and shorts. (Syracuse looked awesome in the all-Orange, but in the (Casey) Powell days, they used to rock all-white at the stadium (with orange helmets))).
I think (Urick's) shorts are obnoxiously low, but that's his decision--he's an amazing player.
I also like the shoulder "streak" they have (kind of like USC's).
--Yeah, Riddells are certainly not as good as Cascades; they look about as bad as the Strykes in 02.

I have no major beef with the unis. The helmets are the only "gripe" I may have. I've seen better, that's all. I like the jersey and shorts okay.

A lot of the guys are also sporting some of the new heads as well. From the looks of things Casey Powell and Boyle seemed to be using the new Proton Power(edit: Boyle is using a Proton Plus, although it looks as if Jalbert is sporting a Proton Power). Ryan Powell looked to be using a Kannon and I swear I saw a D pole with a V Groove, but the sidewall shots were a little out of focus. I may be wrong so I'm going back to take a closer look.

I personally like the white unis and have no problem with the Riddells.

I like the white. I've always thought that all white was very cool, just like all black. The Riddells aren't bad, and I really didn't like their old uniforms anyway.

I am in the minority apparently, I don't think the buckets are too bad...there is far worse out there IMHO.
The uniforms are sharp. I think they are classic looking, with enough modern flair to be "in fashion". I really like them.

I have nothing wrong with all white, infact all white is sweet. I love playing home games because of the uni's, but in the case of the US team it just doesnt look good.

Unis are fine and actually i dont mind how them look them just all look big though and the stx gloves are pretty sick but those riddells oofff that is aweful.

i think that the unis are ok, could done with a bit more color. maybe red sleeves and have everything trimmed (i guess thats the word?) in blue. maybe a more exciting pattern for the shorts. white with red stripe. boring. just my opinion. helmets are ugggggggggggly

They look like an awesome football team, but I really dont know if this stuff should be brought into lacrosse. I love ridell helmets with single stripes, but on the heads of football players. They made ridell helmets look sick, but can a football helmet actually be sick in a lacrosse environment? Shouldnt the National team of the most prominent lacrosse nation support actual lacrosse companies? I dont know, but I kinda want one of their helmets.
The STX stuff is awesome by the way. The gloves look cool in team colors, but no one ever sells team looking colorways anymore in retail stores, theyll probably look all lame and plastic when theyre available to me. Jerseys get an A- due to the fact that theyre clean, but not mindblowing.

They aren't wearing G-Forces, at least the majority that I saw were not. They are wearing I Pro gloves. Also when the team plays in the world games next year STX is planning on having them wear an all new exclusive Team USA line of gloves/pads. This is just a teaser and it was good but, I fully expect the real deal to be great.

actually i like these uniforms A LOT more then the last ones they had. the stryke helmets were hideous. im not the biggest fan of the riddell helmets, but they look really good this year.

OH MY GOD, they barent wearing CPX's, God forbid they dont wear cacade! I want one of those helmets, besides me and PilotShinjikar i dont think anyone has tried the riddells. The colors are awesome.

I've had mine for 2 seasons now. Cascade's feel flimsy compared to the Riddell, plus you get the custom air fit with the Riddell. No need for different sized padded inserts to get a good fit.

I like the look of the US uniform. I hope to see it up close next year.

I beleive Stryke was formed around 2000-2001, but I know that they weren't around in 1998. The 1998 team wore PLH helmets. Still you were correct that they didn't wear Cascade in those games.

yeah we wore all white last year for our home jerseys and they looked real good. I think that the color placement is a little weird and i'm not a fan of the riddle helmets but other than that, I think its alright

yahhhh i think there unis are terrible....too much white...the helmets are definitly ugly...and the shorts look lik something shaquelle O'neal would wear.Definitly not lacrosse looking. And to top it off the unis are made by STX...i mean its Team USA the should definitly have Brine Warrior or NIke....not STX!
