Ok well i'm extremly interested in getting a PSP. I've been browsing around and I still have a few un answered questions. Is there a built in camera? Can you change the memory stick to make it larger? Can you save DVD's on to the PSP. About how many songs or photos does it have? How the Sound quality? With browsing the internet? how do you type? Answering Any of the questions would be great!

No camera. The memory sticks cost soooo much and they arent even that big and cannot be changed to make larger but they are re-writeable. You cannot save DVD's to the PsP. It can't hold that many songs/photos. Sound quality is great. It's not worth it unless you have a laptop so when you go on the road you can rewrite the memory cards b.c they only come in like 1gb, 2gb the biggest. A movie is about 1gb. A 1gb is like 130 and the 2gb is like 200 i believe. It's really not worth it.

if you play it enough (about like 4 hrs a week) i think its worth it. Its bassicly an alternitive to a PS2. i have one and i love it. I just play tiger woods all day.
Please search. Youve been here for a decent amount of time. http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=27069&highlight=PSP

1. no
2. yes
3. Sort of, you can download video files from your computer, or you can get umd (universal media disk) movies
4. It depends what size memorystick you have and how many you games you save on it
5. Sound quality is equal to my ipod

Was but my mom proved to me it's not worth it b.c i would use it mostly on trips when I can't rewrite the memory discs so i can only carry like 1 movie at a time or else i would have to buy all new movies and games

Well I can keep a case of what movies i want....And music well....I have like 300 songs i could change and whats the stock size of memory? so you cant change it with a flash stick like a digital camera?

i disagree. You can get 10 gb cards now. And movies are on there own discs. Internet is possibly but i dont like typing without a keyboard. and you can but a camera for it i believe not sure on that one tho. and withthe bigger cards its a mean machine. And i cant pass up my newest Grand Theft Auto

1) No Camera, maybe and attachment in the near future (Hey gameboy color had one) but nothing announced yet.
2) You can get mem sticks up to 2gigs right now but they're pricey, but this leads to....
3) Yes, with the right cpu software and a large enough mem stick you can rip dvds to the mem card and watch em on the go.
4) Songs and photos are determined by file size and the size of your mem card (psp comes with a 32mb)
5)Sound quality is pretty decent, but not the greatest. A good pair of headphones and you won't be disappointed.
There are several decent games out with newer ones getting over the launch title hurdles coming out. For more info I suggest www.gamefaqs.com click on psp and the hardware message boards and faqs should fill you in on the rest.

lol....so it dounds worth it to me! Where can you get a 10gb card? Because i'm gonna buy mine tommorow. It sounds worth cause you store a lot of photos and music. And its more for playing games and watching DVD's so you dont need to save em...just have a case that fits in your pocket

Yeah it's a common thing now to download the ISO's (like Rom's but these don't need an emulator as they are the full games, just in need of a psp) of the new games. It's highly illegal (me avatar declares it to be electronic piracy...yarr) and on gamefaqs it's againt their ToS to talk of such things. If you''re going to spend the money on the psp, be legit and buy the games too (half.com and ebay always have good deals).
Besides, Sony is constantly updating the psp firmware (now version 2.0) to weed out piracy, emulators and home-brewed games (the last one is debatable since these are games young developers are making and putting out there shareware style ala the original doom to get recognition, but it was first to go anyways). Plus newer games like Coded Arms require updates (contained on the UMD) to play them forcing the updates, but 2.0 includes the new ability to browse the web althoug withought flash or java, but those should be coming soon.

Until you find a game you want to play with no available ISO, you'll have to upgrade. I believe there are some ways to downgrade, but talk on gamefaqs rarely ventures to that realm due to ToS. It'll get weeded out eventually.

Condition and price and all that goood stuff?

great condition...used 4-5 times. Includes tiger woods and everything from the valut pack (soft case, charger, headphones + remote, little white hand hold thing strap)
I'd let it go for 205 shipped. No dead pixels / stuck pixels. 2.0 firmware for internet browsing, althought I can rollback to 1.5 if you want homebrew.

there is no built in camera, you can buy bigger mem cards, u can save dvds, if u make the video dimensions smaller so that the size just fits the screen, you could probably save a bit of memory. with 256, you can store about 40-50 songs, everytime you double the memory, double the amount of songs. i don't have a psp but the first few are generic questions so i know the answer to those

the iPod nano runs on a 4G flash drive, so if they have them as cards, 4G is the largest I've heard.
And yes the memory cards are RW, how else could you delete songs and videos and put on new ones?
I love it, and if you have a wireless router, even better so you can get on th PSP web browser when somebody else is on the computer.
