Hi, im from North York and im just wondering if there is anywhere i can play lacrosse this winter... Also does anyone rent like the pad and play like a pick up game just like you do when you rent ice for hockey???

There is a place in syracuse,,,, but I haven't found any info on it yet.. I'll have to ask some of my Senior B guys..

The problem is that for a true box game, there are no pads available because they are all used for hockey. If you find your way to the "Unofficial OLA Forum" you will the that it has been discussed there as well. The best you may find is one of the clubs running a winter program in a gym or indoor field, but it likely wouldn't be fullcontact box-rules. Search here, I think RockStar found one place where the ice plant was decommisioned and the pads were not covered with ice, but it was almost always booked up with floor hockey.

Stephen Leac0ck arena in Scarborough. There's an adult rec league (masters rules) there, but no real box.

IIRC, the ice making plant is obsolete or broken down and they aren't repairing or replacing it, so no ice.
