I searched, no avail besides the naming of programs

Well i was thinking about downloading this and it saysyou get 25 free plays a month, does this mean that you get 25 free songs a month? or just plays as in listen to 25 songs, free every month

and if you can actually save the songs to ur HD w/o playing for them, how does this work?
thanks for the help

I know that if you pay the $10 or so per month, you can listen to unlimited music from your computer, but you still have to purchase songs if you want to download them, put them onto an mp3 player, etc. Not really sure about the free thing.

I have been subscribed to Rhapsody for about 8 months and love it. You can save money if you pay quarterly. It works out to about $8.50 per month. Songs can be burned to CD for $0.79 each. It appears that they now support portable media players. You can install it on more than 1 computer, but only listen through 1 at a time. You can also hook your PC up to home stereo speakers. I have it on my home PC and my work laptop. This is good for me because Utah is a radio wasteland.
You can build playlists, and they provide samplers of songs by the various artists. They do not have the rights to every song by every artist. For example, I am a fan of King Crimson, but there is precious litte of it available. However, almost everything I have wanted to hear I have found. They also provide reviews and bios of the artists, as well as links to similar artists. Following these links I have come upon groups I had never heard of but really like.
I don't know much about the mp3 stuff because i don't have an mp3 player. But go ahead and get the free trial. There is an extensive FAQ file with the program, and you have nothing to loose.

Forgot to mention: the subscription allows you to listen to unlimited songs per month.

Wait, does the subscription let you put songs on your mp3 player for free, of do you have to pay the 79 cents?
