Are you allowed to have multiple logins if multiple people use the computer and each of a different login?
Id imagine you could. I know there are a couple siblings on tlf that probly use diff same sns on the same comp. I dont know if they can tell the difference though. I just dont know mang. I dont like this whole message thing. We already had these rules. Why this whole big thing about them now? Is the forumn especially bad lately and i just missed it? (see thread in froum guidlines.)

he put it up to make sure people atleast have to visit the rules page in order to navigate the site,in light of the recent craziness on the forum i think this is marks way of keep his beautiful site,beautifull.

Multiple user names on 1 IP address (in other words 1 computer) will be viewed as a rules violation. You need to either alert the moderators/admins of your situation, or find another way to get those people online. Multiple user names is a gateway to causing trouble. Obviously this has become a bit of an epidemic around here.

It won't let anyone on. I'm assuming that Mark altered the main index to show that warning.
You can still navagate the forums by using the scroll window at the top of this thread, on the right side on the orange bar.

hooligan, thanks for the tip, lol, i had been doing random searches until i found the sub forum i wnated, anyways, alert some mods immediatly about your situation with the multiple names on the smae computer, im sure they will be willing to work things out with you, the guys at TLF are always helpful

It's good to see. I have been on other boards where 90% of the posts are "Off-Topic" and a significant number of the users never contribute to the subject matter. They simply use it as a chat room. A lot of the threads and posts are way over the top. I like how things here are kept on track, but there's still room for some fun.

The reason why its there is the first, last and only warning that anyone will recieve on the issue anymore. The things in that warning on the front page are major issues. All of those problems will result in permanent bannings for ALL violators.
Thems the breaks guys. If you don't break those rules, you have NOTHING to worry about.

mark took down the warning page just a little bit ago so all is back to normal with tfl, now my question, what is an IP Ban, i dont know much about computers so any help would be appreciated, im just glad my tfl is back!

An IP ban banns your Internet Providers address. Basicly your computers address. It means you cant log on to TLF on your computer on ANY name if we ban your IP.

Mark basically goes over the rules we all know we need to abide by anyway (no profanity, innapropriate content, no flaming, ect.) you know... I think you'll be ok without it. :thumbsup:

However now basicly all offenses are being treated very severly. IP bans will be much more common now for people that cronicly dont follow the rules. So be smart and simply keep yourself out of trouble.

Your IP will be banned from TLF. Meaning wherever your computer is hooked up will not be able to get back on. You wont be able to just make a new screen name, you wont be coming back.
