No, all cartidges contian either their own internal backups like Final Fantasy III or Legend of Zelda or a password system like Megaman X.

Old doesn't = bad. I think there are a lot of old, outdated games that are better games than a lot of newer games just because of the fact that they didn't have the advanced graphics and controls we have now. Games were simple, but most of all fun.

You got somethin against Pong? What, you wanna fight abboddit?
And to all those PSPers and Xboxers, take your multi-joysticked and buttoned controllers and shove em.
The best system is still the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). Yeah, thats right, the original. There are some stores in my area that have those horribly forgotten large (and in charge) cartridges that were forgotten once upon a time. Those games are completely cheesey, but they're still fun. Super Mario Bros (the original), Duck Hunt, the Mega Man saga 1-5, TECMO SUPER BOWL! You gotta be nuts if you're going to pay hundreds of dollars for these companies who are still trying to beat each other with out of this world technology. The best technology is the game itself. We have seen some of the best game ideas forgotten on a dusty second hand shop shelf.
My advice, buy yourself an NES system, and some games, and you'll only pay around $15 total. You can barely buy dinner for that!

Duck Hunt
My old dentist's office had that game! I had more fun going to the dentist than staying home. No joke. I'd beg my mom to let me stay a little while longer. :worship:

THANK YOU... to this day, i will argue that James Bond 007 Goldeneye for N64 is the best game ever created... ever
when it comes to Goldeneye, i play no games... i will take you down, grr
Seriously. I still have Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger. FF III kills Chrono Trigger, though. Chrono Trigger is so overrated. But SNES has some of the best Nintendo games ever. Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda, FF II and III, Chrono Trigger, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, et cetera. Of course, they still make great games, but those are some of the best. I also loved Super Mario RPG.

Chrono Trigger = breeathtakingly awesome

Yes, back when RPGs reliedon the story, as opposed to the graphics. I still have my SNES hooked up next to my GameCube.

Yeah, I'm currently addicted to that game. My roommate just brought it from home so I've been playing nonstop.
