I want TLF to become a super mega awesome happy fun fun place for people to post.
So. Since i want to have a life outside this website (!!!!!!) please, use the report button!
This helps out the mods so much when we get reports, it fills my insides with pink unicorns and butterflies to see reports in my inbox! I LOVE IT. AGHAFLAGGERAG.
I love them so much i had to make random noises to explain to you how much i love them.
Now i don't want to see reports for: "lol hes being a stupid pooooooo head"
I want to see clear violations of TLF rules, flaming, trolling, etc.
Nothing happens to you except, well, nothing. All the mod of the forum you made the report in gets is an e-mail with the violation.
Its much easier for me and Mavido to keep the forum clean (and not have to delete/close as many threads) when you report stuff.

Are the report buttons fixed? I swear mine never worked so I pretty much only used it when it really needed it. Even then I'm pretty sure it just wasn't working because there was never results (I'm not talking like oh no, the mods didn't move it after a day, I am talking like over a week to move certain threads that shouldn't be there). Maybe it's working now though?

Alright, if you think you have a broken report button, feel free to report this post. And state in here that you reported it. I will confirm that we are receving reports. I honestly will say that only two members report posts. Occasionaly someone else will but its rare.
So if you want to try reporting to see if it works feel free to report this post.
But when you do so add a post to this thread saying that you reported so i can confrim or deny for you.
It is really appreciated when things are reported, the mods have to go though every post on the forums from the last time they logged on and are expected to keep up with things as they happen. Having people point you in the right direction helps SO much. So thanks in adavnce.

Okay, I will do this little test right after I post it. Does the report go to the moderator of that specific forum? I recently reported something earlier this afternoon and I don't expect it to be fixed with in minutes because I know how busy you guys are but I was wondering if all of you get it or just the ones from each specific forum. If you all got it you could go about and help out the fellow mods and such. Let me know if you get either of them.

and forums superstar ljlax had her first report today ^_^
I use to report things but I lost the left half of my head and cant see that side of my monitor anymore. I could turn but meh.

this does not include duplicates or off topic posts, should we report them anyway
Do reports go to your email? Meaning, if I report something and your on TLF, will you see it immeadiatly or something? Or do you have to check your email?

Yes, because i sometimes miss stuff or don't have a ton of time to comb the forums with a fine brush as i much as I would like to...
Honestly, the worst that can happen is we don't agree with your report and then do nothing about it. Its happend a bunch of times.

Or you can report a mod and really make them mad....
Do reports go to your email? Meaning, if I report something and your on TLF, will you see it immeadiatly or something? Or do you have to check your email?
They do come to our email, but i have Gmail notifier.. which basicly tells me as soon as I get it what happend.. Also if my speakers are on my comp will beep when i get a Gmail, so even if im not on the computer i should get to it pretty quick.
But if im playing Counter Strike... I turn Gmail off... it beeps to offten.

Just sent 300 reports to Enjoi. He should get a plastic bag and put it over his computer when he checks his email!

Can we use the report button to report illegal sigs? If not, how do we report illegal sigs, as I see lots of them.

Yes. You can use the report button for any rule infraction, but please BE CLEAR AND CONCISE ON EXACTLY WHAT THE REPORT IS FOR! Can't tell you how many reports I've gotten, and didn't know why I was getting the reported message. Without a reason, if the mod can't figure it out on his/her own, the post will go without correction.
