Yeah, I play drums in a band and I'm really excited because we just recorded a new demo. We put three of the songs up on our site (http://www.myspace.com/thenagasakicyclones), so check them out and tell me what you think or add us if you have a myspace.

Do any of you guys play in a band/what do you play?

Im not in a band at the moment...mainly just jam with friends..hoping to get aband on recently..i play guitar, bass, and im just picking up drums...

Im not big into ska or reggae or anything like that, but the song thats up sounded good...vocals were a little muddy, but im guessing that was because of recording...i liked the whole sax and trumpet thing goin on...

From what I heard the horns sounded a little weak. Like they needed to be turned up and a little crisper. Idk if you can do that with your equipment tho. Sounds pretty good man.

Thanks. Yeah, we don't have mics for them yet (saving money from shows to buy some) so it's hard for them to be heard over everything else.

Man, I didn't think anyone on these boards ('cept me and Captain Cool) listened to ska. It isn't really well recieved at my school.

I listen to a lot of stuff from my area, which sounds a lot like this. The orns do need to be turned up a little more, but it was awesome nonetheless.

The vocals aren't too hot, but that's probably becuase you don't have good recording equipment. I'm diggin the guitar in the verses on the spaceship song.

Now thats some good ska. The only thing is the trumpets, but it was still sweet.
