Need help converting image for avatar

I created an image of darth vader playing lax on photoshop, but I don't know how to save it in a way that will let me use it as my avatar. I tried to save it as a jpg file but I couldn't save it as a file that is under 1000 bytes in size. How can I save it to use as an avatar?

Host it on image shack or photobucket and resize it there then copy the URL and paster it into TLF

Thanks for making me feel stupid again ekeown. Just kidding. Now I put yoda's head in on D (he's wearing the cpro but I took out the goalie chin guard). I also have one that has yoda playing D on darth vader (again). There in my album that I made yesterday.
