Just got a PSP!!!!!How do i change th eback round color? And how do update the firmware

That is true slinky but with the new firmware you can change it to your liking, change the color, or put up a picture.

yea but i dont ahve a hotspot near me so im stuck with pink for a month.. sigh

It wont recoginize that it is plugged into my computer....So I can't update firmware to get on the net and play the latest stuff!

uggg that happened to me too at first then i plugged it into my mac and it worked for some reason did you turn on the usb mode? its in the menu

I selected it....but it didnt seem to do much...I have to take it back cause i got a defective screen on mine so it didnt start out they way i wanted it to...

Go to settings and then them settings and then theme and then select the color. Go to a hotspot or WIFI place and connect to the internet it then should ask if you want to update.
EDIT if you wanna usb connect make sure to go to sttings and then usb connection

HAHA. You should have bought my psp. It would have been 40 bucks cheaper, and included a game. Oh, and you wouldnt have to had worried about it's state of workingness.

its saying connection error occured (80110482....But when i drag music files into my PSP folder its not showing up on my PSP...the space is gone but the files wont appear

OK look in your manual you have to create a PSP folder and then a music one

umm, maybe ur not in a strong signal area? i dunno,but i downloaded the update yesterday and the web browser is sweet. i downloaded a couple pics from lax.com and some other "stuff" to use as my background

ok now it wont open up because its not regocnized...is their a possibility my router isnt allowing the PSP to connect for security reasons?
