Best Goal

OK, I;m in pretty severe boxla withdrawl - so I want to know:

What has been YOUR most spectacular goal ever. Whther it be a jaw-droppingly awesome goal, or just a crucial game-winner in OT. I want to hear 'em.

You might remember this one laxpimp. I was playing cornwall during a tournament in ottawa and i cut in ffrom the crease, got a pass from the pointman, got hit hard by the defenceman, and while im on my butt i put one top corner. wasnt a game winner or anything, but my team was loving it. Another was in six nations at the iroquois lacrosse arena. My team was in the tournament championship game against kitchener waterloo and we were on the penalty kill. they were pass ing the ball around wasting the clock, and one of their players dropped a pass. I scooped it up, sprinted for the breakaway, and got the tieing goal.

standing with my back to the goal like 10 feet from teh crease waiting for a feed(the play) the pass got knocked down i snached the lossey, shot, no look between the legs bottom corner so im told(i didnt see it) then I slowly walked to the bench

Figured I'd post mine.

We were beaint a team during a tournament, so I was gettin pretty pumped. Midway through the second I came in right handed, beat three guys on one-on-one to get to the net, switched hands and scored top-shelf far-side.

I was also awarded player of the game.

i saw randy daily in a WLA game dive acrosse the middle for a pass and in the air he quick sticked it top corner it was crazy

Got cross checked in the back of the head, and fell to the ground in front of the goal. When the ball came loose, it bounced in front of me, so I batted it in the goal with my stick. I was so dazed, that I asked one of the defensemen on the other team if I scored. He wasn't too happy with me...

This isn't mine but I helped.
I cross-checked a guy with the ball in the chest by the 24' line and he fell on his back. From there he lobbed the ball over my shoulder and hit top right in the net.

one time it was tied 8-8 against or rival team the rams a team, and they were setting up when I picked off a pass with 12 seconds left and went down and scored the winner with 2 on me with 8 seconds left it was pretty crazy.

This wasn't mine but i helped i picked off a shot and threw a long bomb to the guy off the bench and then he scored in OT with a man down... and we were provincial champs after that!

i havent scored any goals but i have seen some duzzies:
-team capatain had the ball at the top,faked a behind the back pass to the left then went right and let off a howitzer of a underarm top left corner
-one of our players,27, cut got the pass then got tripped running through the middle and put it in,in mid sir,soo sweet
-2 of our players,one with the ball,ran towards eachother and intentionaly bumped into eachother, and while doing that the ball switched hands,then the one without ball faked an underarm,the goalie went doen and the one with the ball lobbed it so it bounced right in front of the already down goalie so it bounced righht over his shoulder.

Mines not cool or anything, it was just a major burn. This kid lipped me off at the face off, talking trash about how my team's going to lose, I won the draw, picked up the ball and scored from Center on there goalie.

goalie blocked my shot then hit his stick on the top bar of the cage and ball fell out into the goal

ok nevermind what i stated the best goal i've ever seen was when we played akwasasne in a tournament and our goalie through the ball down the floor to the off bench guy and te guy missed it and it bounced right into hte net when their goalie was in it.. It was sweet!!!!

my goalie scored on a goaie once in A, he just picked it up and threw because of the 10 second rule while your short and their goalie tried to catch it and it bounced outta his stick and in the net. It was even better because they knew eachother and before the game the other team's goalie asked if he'd scored yet and my goalie said not yet(because he usually gets one in a season some how), then when we were shaking hands at the end my goalie said to thier goalie, now I havem it was great.

We was in a 3 on 5 pk, 10 seconds rule also, i pcked it up in the crease and then i started to run, dodge one at the middle line, then in the entering of defensive zone a guy charged me, so.. i crouch and he steped over me and fell, i restart running and I stayed like 7-8 seconds in the corner of their zone then when there was like 5 seconds left to the 30 secs shot timer i ran to the back of their goal and i feint to go right then go left and return next to the goalie and scored on a backhand shot In the bot corner.

i bagged a kid with my initial shot once and everybody stopped but the whistle didnt so i picked up the ball and fired it in... it was a blowout for the other team at the time but it was pretty funny... the other team was pretty psised

ya it was darren, and he's an amazing goalie, way bette than any other goalie our age.

3rd qtr 1998 nll final game #1 philly hosting baltimore. 3rd qtr and the thunder are all over dallas eliuk. i kid you not with a 10-second span dallas has to stop about a half-dozen point blank shots as it looked baltimore was in a shootaround opn top of him. they can't score and the wings fire a laser outlet to matt ogelsby on a transition break and scores. not only do the plays congratulate matt for a goal but they surround eliuk in admiration & appreciation. the thunder, w/ guys like gait & panos in their prime, never recovered.

that may be the only play where i saw the greatest goaltending display capped w/ a punishing goal all in one play. i don't think anyone at the game that night can ever recall a more exciting 20-seconds. to this very day, i would love to get a copy of the house feed of that.

i know it wasn't about me but it is still the goal that as i write juices me up for box.
